Track: "Walk With Me" by Strangers in Wonderland
Apr 22, 07

I am forced to love anything that comes from Stockholm, Sweden. It's written in the Hammurabi's Code of indie hipsterdom, right before chest hair for men and right after going out no earlier than 11 pm. If you really must know why this is true, here's a list of current faves in the blogosphere hipsterati: Peter Bjorn & John, Frida Hyvönen, Lo-Fi-Fnk, Loney, Dear, Ane Brun, Mando Diao, the list could go on, but you get the point I'm sure.
Add Strangers in Wonderland to that mix. The duo boy-girl piano-guitar-drums create sweet as a cavity sounding pop music that just begs for constant spinning. Åsa & Lasse are the names and caberet is kinda their game. Just one listen to "Walk With Me" is all you need. And it's all the culture of me needed to give Strangers in Wonderland the seal of approval. I can't see any reason for the buzz not to be building, especially after the vocals suck you in like quicksand. Reach for that vine listener, but don't be surprised if you let go of your grip.
(mp3) Walk With Me
Godspeed!
